In the frame of the annual training program, EUROMARFOR is participating in IT MINEX 2014 exercise with a Task Group of five mine-hunters. This mine hunting exercise will take place in the vicinity of La Spezia harbor, from 12 to 24 of May and will involve assets from different Nations.

The aim of the exercise is to train the participating staffs and units in planning, conducting and evaluating mine countermeasures operations in a multi threat scenario.

The activity will be conducted in defined areas close to the coast, selected especially in order to avoid interferences with other seas activities, such as fishing, touristic or commercial.
