The second week of the Italian Mine Warfare Exercise ITAMINEX 2014 starts today. After a valuable activity during the first seven days at sea, the Commander of the EUROMARFOR Group (Commander Couce CALVO), his international staff on board ESPS Turia, and his units start the second phase of this important exercise with the usual enthusiasm. The first week of the exercise allows the EUROMARFOR Units to exercise in the operation for maintaining the freedom of navigation against the underwater threat.

The exercise will continue until the last day of this week. EUROMARFOR units will return to homeports after the dispersion of Task Group.
