Today, August 6^th, a new challenge for EUROMARFOR is starting. In Djibuti, the Commander of the EUROMARFOR Group, Italian Admiral Rando, has assumed the Command of the European task group during a ceremony onboard the German ship FGS Brandenburg.

EUROMARFOR will be involved in Operation “Atalanta” until the end of this year, with a task group composed, for the time being, by the flagship ITS Andrea Doria and the Spanish frigate ESPS Navarra.
