The President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, during a trip to Muscat, Oman, visits the EUROMARFOR flag ship, ITS Carabiniere, moored in Sultan Qaboos harbour. The Commanding Officer of the ship, Commander Francesco Saladino, explain the European mission in Operation Atalanta and the situation in the Horn of Africa area. The Italian President, escorted by Commander Saladino and the Commander of the EUROMARFOR group Real Admiral Stefano Barbieri, met Carabiniere crew.
