Experts in firefighting of ITS Carabiniere crew, EMF flagship for Operation Atalanta, trained with Tanzanian Navy during a port call in Dar Es Salaam from February 20 to the 25.

The activities in the fields of passive defense and fire fighting techniques onboard the ship was carried out initially by the Italian and then by the Tanzanian team.
ITS Carabiniere is often involved in this type of activity aimed to foster the cooperation with the local Countries in the Indian Ocean.
