The  exercise SWORDFISH 18 enters in its final stage with the tactical phase (TACEX)  in which commanders at sea have to take advantage of the deep integration achieved by their forces in the previous days, to comply with their assigned missions in order to solve, in a free play game, the fictitious scenario that was set up.

SF 18 is a portuguese maritime live exercise conducted on a biennial basis, designated to improve maritime forces operational capabilities, training the participating forces in a multifdimentional scenario during a regional multi-threat crisis.

The Units also recived the visit of the Officer Scheduling the Exercise (OSE), VADM Gouveya e Melo in his dual role of Portuguese Fleet Commander (COMNAV) and COMEUROMARFOR,  in order to give even more emphasis to the importance of the activity and withessing the results so far achieved.
