On August 6^th, a new challenge for EUROMARFOR started. In Djibuti, the Commander of the EUROMARFOR Group, Italian Admiral Rando, has assumed the Command of the European task group during a ceremony onboard the German ship FGS Brandenburg.

EUROMARFOR is involved in Operation “Atalanta” until 15 february 2015, with a task group composed by the flagship ITS Andrea Doria and the Spanish frigate ESPS Navarra (until 10DEC2014) and ESPS Rayo (after 08DEC2014).
