European Maritime Force (EUROMARFOR) Task Group is involved in the NATO exercise "NOBLE MARINER-12" that takes place in Mediterranean Sea, South of Toulon, from 24 September to 7 October 2012.

The EUROMARFOR Task Group is composed by the French oiler FS Var, as EUROMARFOR flag ship, the minehunters FS Pegase, FS Orion and FS Lyre, from France, and from Spain ESPS Tambre.

Captain Frederic Benon is the EUROMARFOR Task Group Commander (COMGRUEUROMARFOR) during this EUROMARFOR activation.

"NOBLE MARINER-12" is a major naval exercise playing an important role in the certification process of the NATO Response Force (NRF).
