ITS Carabiniere training with the Royal Navy of Oman

On Friday 11 December 2015, ITS Carabiniere conducted maritime training with the Royal Navy of Oman.

During the training, crew members from ITS Carabiniere and the Royal Navy of Oman warship, SNV Al Bat’nah, carried out close quarters and towing manoeuvres, as well as refuelling at sea and helicopter operations.

Operation Atalanta regularly trains with regional navies in order to strengthen relationships and improve maritime security in the area.
