EUROMARFOR flag has lowered onboard the Portuguese frigate NRP BARTOLOMEU DIAS, flagship of the EMF Task Group. The Force was activated from 16 to 26 of September, during the Portuguese navy exercise REPMUS 24.

The Task Group consisted of three ships, NRP Bartolomeu Dias, NRP Setubal and ESPS Tornado and of the Italian Navy REMUS team.

Integrated in the tactical phase of REPMUS 24 is the exercise CONTEX-PHIBEX 24, aiming to enhance forces capacities in a multi-domain environment, including amphibious operations.

For ten days, tactical and technical knowledge was strengthened at all levels and the cooperation and interoperability between EMF personnel and navies was further enhanced, highlighting the primary role of the EUROMARFOR as maritime security provider.
