On May 13rd, EUROMARFOR is activated for the Italian Navy's annual, specialized Mine Countermeasures (MCM) exercise. 

This exercise improve command staff and crew performance in planning and conducting Mine Countermeasures operations. Furthermore tests advanced underwater technologies, validates modern naval procedures, and trains forces to clear sea lanes and secure safe port access within a realistic, multi-threat asymmetric environment.

Leaded by the Italian Navy, bringing in minehunters, divers, and unmanned underwater vehicles from the participant allied nations.
